Building Esports Paths in Egypt

We started Elphx Trisk because too many talented players in Egypt didn't know where to begin. The esports scene here has energy and potential, but finding solid guidance was tough. So we built something different.

How We Actually Started

Back in 2022, a few of us who'd been competing in regional tournaments noticed something. Friends kept asking us the same questions: How do you find a team? What equipment matters? Where do you even practice seriously?

Most learning resources were either too advanced or ignored the reality of gaming in Egypt. Internet quality, hardware availability, tournament access — these practical issues weren't being addressed. We figured we could change that.

Now we run structured programs that walk beginners through what they actually need to know. Not just game mechanics, but team communication, tournament preparation, and building a sustainable approach to competitive gaming. It's grown beyond what we expected.

What Guides Our Work

These aren't just nice words on a page. They're how we decide what programs to create and how we interact with students.

Realistic Goals

We don't promise professional contracts or tournament wins. We teach fundamentals and help you understand what actual progress looks like in competitive gaming.

Community First

Esports is a team activity. We connect beginners with practice groups and local players because improvement happens faster when you're not learning alone.

Practical Knowledge

Every lesson addresses real challenges Egyptian players face. From internet optimization to finding affordable gear, we focus on what you can actually apply.

Our Timeline So Far

2022

Foundation Year

Started with informal coaching sessions in Cairo gaming cafes. Eight students signed up for our first workshop on MOBA fundamentals. We learned as much from them as they learned from us.

2023

Program Structure

Built our first structured curriculum after realizing casual sessions weren't enough. Added modules on team strategy and tournament preparation based on what our early students struggled with most.

2024

Community Growth

Connected with gaming centers across Giza and expanded to online training sessions. Started organizing monthly practice tournaments to give beginners real competitive experience in a supportive environment.

2025

Current Focus

Running multiple training tracks for different skill levels. Working with over 150 students this year and partnering with local tournaments to create entry points for beginners.

Hazem Lotfy

Lead Instructor

Hazem competed in Egyptian MOBA tournaments for three years before joining us in 2023. He noticed many talented players struggled with team coordination more than individual mechanics.

His training sessions focus on communication and strategic thinking. He runs our beginner team formation workshops and helps students understand competitive gaming beyond just playing well individually.

"Most new players think they just need better reflexes. But watching replays together and learning to call objectives properly? That's usually what makes the difference," he says.
